Great North Paediatric Conference

The Great North Paediatric Conference was held for the first time in Newcastle to celebrate the Great North Children’s Hospital and to showcase Paediatrics in the North of England.

The conference, attended by over 180 Paediatricians, Paediatricians in training and General Practitioners, presented exemplar clinical work and research throughout the three days. The international conference attracted delegates from the UK and as far afield as New Zealand.

A gala dinner was held at St James Park on the first night to kick off the conference with an elegant evening.

As well as providing industry knowledge and insight into best practice of running a conference, NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau were able to help the organisers identify a suitable venue for the main conference and gala dinner as well as providing a costing analysis.
