NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau wins UK industry award

NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau, part of NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI) has won the Bronze Award for Best UK Convention Bureau at the prestigious M&IT Awards. 

Held on Friday 9^th September 2022 at Evolution London, the awards are the Oscars of the business events industry and celebrate the people who continue to drive the industry forward.   

Hosted this year by TV personality, Ore Oduba, the M&IT Awards brings together the most industry professionals than any other awards event. 

NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau helps to attract and secure major national and international conferences and events.  

Caroline Reed, Senior Manager of Business Events, NGI said:

NewcastelGateshead Convention Bureau were nominated alongside Glasgow Contention Bureau, Liverpool Convention Bureau, London & Partners, London Convention Bureau, Manchester Convention Bureau, Visit Belfast and Visit Scotland. 

There were 19 categories at the awards this year, with the introduction of brand-new categories including Best Incentive Provider and Diversity and Inclusion Award.
