The Sage ICC is destined to become a vibrant venue for your business meeting and event. The waterfront conference and exhibition centre will have easy access to both Newcastle and Gateshead town centre, right at the heart of the spirit of the North East of England.
The scheme comprises a 12,500-seat arena, 2,800m2 of flexible meeting space and 6,300m2 of exhibition space, along with two brand new hotels and multiple restaurants.
Sitting on the banks of the River Tyne at the heart of Newcastle and Gateshead; perfectly positioned between The Glasshouse International Centre for Music and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the centre will be a fantastic addition to the already iconic skyline of the NewcastleGateshead quayside.

The International Conference and Exhibition Centre will feature:
- 6,300 sqm main exhibition hall – sub divisible into 3 halls and pillar free.
- 1,620 sqm multi-purpose conference hall, with various options to subdivide.
- 990 sqm, multi-purpose meeting / event space, river-facing with feature balconies overlooking Gateshead Millennium Bridge, with various options to subdivide.
- 13 flexible meeting / event rooms in total, plus the exhibition hall(s) and a feature boardroom.
- 1,350 sqm outdoor events space with infrastructure for staging events.
