Tyne To Get Back To Business

Venues across Newcastle and Gateshead have united to demonstrate their commitment to quality, safety and professionalism as event organisers are planning events for 2022 and beyond in a world with Covid.

A total of 35 venues ranging from major hotel chains to historic buildings have joined forces to help build back event organisers’ confidence in staging everything from international conferences to team building sessions in Newcastle and Gateshead.

As part of a campaign – called Tyne To Get Back To Business – all 35 venues have gained coveted AIM Secure accreditation. As the only government-recognised accreditation for business meetings and events, the quality standard has been especially enhanced over the last two years to help venues adapt to deliver events as safely as possible in a world with Covid.

NewcastleGateshead is the first destination in the UK where venues have joined together to create a co-ordinated group of AIM Secure accredited hotels and meeting places.

Tyne To Get Back To Business will feature a range of case studies which demonstrate NewcastleGateshead’s AIM Secure venues in action and these case studies will be published here at meetNewcastleGateshead.com/tyne-to-get-back-to-business throughout March – May 2022.
